AVC's goal is to become the leader in developing first-in-class PDZ-directed therapeutics and diagnostics. In addition to internal product development, the company's business strategy includes out-licensing diagnostic products and other proprietary technologies as well as utilizing strategic partnerships to facilitate drug discovery and commercialization.

Today, in its facilities in Sunnyvale, California, AVC has assembled an impressive group of research scientists with expertise in both drugs and diagnostics, led by an experienced management team. Privately financed by individual investors, corporate partners and government grants, the company is assisted by a strong board of directors and an outstanding scientific advisory board.
