Arbor Vita Corporation is pursuing a comprehensive patent strategy to ensure maximum protection for the research results emerging from its laboratories now and in the future. To date, the company has submitted more than 50 patent applications covering its platform and target identification technologies, specific methods of modulating disease, and compositions of matter. Arbor Vita has been granted a U.S. Patent (U.S. 6,942,981) on its proprietary methods for PDZ screening, and has licensed its technology to Panomics, Inc. to manufacture and sell arrays of PDZ proteins for R&D purposes only.
